Larian Studios, the developer behind Divinity: Original Sin and Original Sin 2 , has dropped what appears to be a teaser for a new Baldur's Gate. The official site has updated with a "III" logo, though the stylized lettering isn't quite unique enough to necessarily identify it as belonging to Baldur's Gate. As some savvy Twitter users have pointed out, though, the metadata refers to the image as "BaldursGate_logo_III_retouched." It has been reported that Warner has approved Pattinson as the star of The Batman, the upcoming DC movie to be directed by War for the Planet of the Apes director Matt Reeves. According to Deadline , the studio has decided to move forward with Pattinson as Batman after considering him and X-Men star Nicholas Hoult. The news that Pattinson was the front-runner was first reported earlier this month. Netflix is to raise the price of its subscriptions in the UK for the first time since 2017, the company has said. Two of its three membership options will go up in price, with the other remaining the same. The two options affected are the mid-range standard tariff, which will soon cost £9 per month, having previously cost £8 per month. This popular option allows you to stream HD TV and films to two devices at a time. The premium option, which currently costs £9 per month and allows you to stream ultra HD content to four devices, will increase to £11 per month, while the basic SD-only package will remain at £6 per month. The first trailer for Pixar's newest movie, Onward, has arrived. The film takes place in a fantasy world and stars two teenage brothers who are elves. The newest patch for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has arrived. Version 3.1.0 is out now, and it adds VR support for Nintendo Labo and makes a series of changes to fighters. You need the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con VR goggles to play in VR, and it's important to note that it only works in single-player offline. Outside of the VR support, Version 3.1.0 makes general game balance adjustments and fixes "several" issues. Additionally, the patch allows players to use FPs in Battle Arenas. As for the fighter adjustments, there is a long, long list of changes and one of them applies to all characters. With the new update, you now have to wait longer to complete a wall-jump after wall-jumping. In terms of character-specific changes, Pikachu's grab range is increased while Samus' up Smash attack is easier to hit multiple times. Donkey Kong's neutral special now makes his super armor last longer after performing a fully charged move. You can see all the changes posted below

Season 9 of Fortnite is well underway, and along with the usual weekly and Utopia challenges, Epic is holding a Downtown Drop limited-time mode , which comes with its own assortment of tasks to complete and rewards to unlock. Most of these are fairly self-explanatory, but one that'll require a little more work is to search O-N-F-I-R-E letters . These are scattered around the map, so if you need help finding them, we're here to show you where to go. The Downtown Drop LTM takes place in its own self-contained map, which greatly limits the area you'll need to search to find the letters. Even so, the map can be confusing to navigate thanks to all of the ramps and corners it features, especially since you're constantly slipping and sliding as you play the mode, so knowing exactly where to look for the letters will greatly alleviate the frustration of this challenge. Xbox boss Phil Spencer has announced his team's final E3 2019 rehearsal is finished and that Microsoft has "lots to show" this year. Apex Legends has been facing numerous issues since launch, including dealing with cheaters , but Respawn Entertainment is committed to improving the game and providing enough content to keep returning players satisfied. Nintendo is rolling out a new patch for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate this week. All the company has said is the update will make an assortment of "fighter adjustments," but it appears there will be a few new features on the way as well, including Labo VR support. The in-game notification for the 3.1.0 update was uncovered ahead of the patch's release (via Twitter ). According to that, the update will roll out at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET today, May 30 (2 AM BST on May 31) and add a VR mode, which will give players "a whole new perspective on the Smash action." To play this mode, you'll need to have the Toy-Con VR Goggles from the Labo VR kit. In addition to the VR mode, it appears the 3.1.0 update is adding some new Amiibo functionality. Historically, much of the excitement has been focused on the big three: Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo. However, in recent years publishers have also wowed attendees and those watching it all unfold via the internet. Bethesda is one of those publishers, generating buzz with Fallout, Doom, Wolfenstein, and The Elder Scrolls related announcements. This year, the company is once again holding its own press conference, and we're expecting it to be pretty exciting. Bethesda is set to host its press conference on Sunday, June 9. Dying Light 2 developer Techland has announced a partnership with Square Enix. The two companies are teaming up to distribute the open-world zombie game in the Americas when it launches later this year. In addition to the partnership, Techland teases we'll get another look at the game in just a few weeks at E3 2019 . "This partnership represents an incredible opportunity for both companies to bring Modern Dark Ages to audiences across Americas," Techland head of marketing Ed Lin said in a press release. Crunchyroll has announced, starting June 6, that it will be co-publishing Grand Summoners, a tap-battle gacha RPG. Starting that same day, Grand Summoners will host a crossover event with popular 2018 anime Goblin Slayer, adding characters from the anime to the game. "Crunchyroll has been an essential partner of GoodSmile Company and NextNinja in creating a worldwide audience for Grand Summoners since early 2018, Grand Summoners producer Masayuki Yamagishi said in a press release. The first trailer for Rambo: Last Blood is here. The fifth movie in the long-running action series stars Sylvester Stallone as former soldier and mercenary John Rambo who is called back into his old life for one last mission. The trailer doesn't really give much about the story away, but it delivers everything that fans of the series will expect. Namely, Stallone shooting, stabbing, and blowing up lots of people, this time in Mexico, while his voiceover tells us that "death is coming" for his enemies. Check it out above. Microsoft has now formally announced that it is bringing Xbox Game Pass to PC, with more details to come at its E3 2019 presentation. Though it shares a name with the Xbox One service, the announcement makes clear that the PC library will be curated separately. The company calls it "a new experience that we are building together with the PC community." In the announcement from Xbox head Phil Spencer, Microsoft says the service will give subscribers access to a curated library of 100 PC games on Windows 10, representing publishers like Bethesda, Deep Silver, Devolver Digital, Paradox Interactive, and Sega. The company also committed to include new releases from Xbox Game Studios on the PC version of Game Pass on the day of release, just like the Xbox One service. Fortnite Season 9, Week 4's challenges are now available and, among them, is one that'll require a little bit of detective work. The challenge in question is part of the free set, so everyone will be able to do it, and it tasks players with seeking out three specific landmarks and dancing near them. The first of these is the Holographic Tomato head, which you'll be able to spot by heading over to the Mega Mall. If you're not familiar with it, don't worry, it's situated where Retail Row used to be, but after the time skip event of Season 9, it's now become a mall. Dark Phoenix is the latest--and possibly last--movie in the current series of X-Men movies. It was originally set to be released in November 2018, but has been delayed following reshoots and finally arrives next month. Star James McEvoy has now revealed one of the reason for the reshoots. In an interview with Yahoo Movies , McEvoy explained that the entire ending of the movie had to be reworked in order to avoid similarities to another superhero movie. "The end [of Dark Phoenix] changed a hell of a lot," he said. "The finale had to change. There was a lot of overlap and parallels with another superhero movie that came out… a while ago. And we had no idea that we were... we were basically trawling through the source material it seems." Although McEvoy declined to state which rival comic book film had the similar ending, he gave some hints when he spoke about the location for the original ending. A trailer for the game has been released and confirms that it is being developed by Saber Interactive, which recently worked on World War Z and NBA 2K Playgrounds . Following the announcement from Netflix that it would consider no longer filming in Georgia if the state's abortion law takes effect, Disney has now also weighed in. CEO Bob Iger told Reuters that Disney would likely pull out of its operations in Georgia if the law goes into effect in 2020 as scheduled. He said it would be "very difficult" to keep filming there if that happens. "I think many people who work for us will not want to work there, and we will have to heed their wishes in that regard," he said. "I don't see how it's practical for us to continue to shoot there" if the law takes effect, Iger said.
