Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 Might Begin Filming Sooner Than Expected

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has been a much-discussed movie in part due to how Marvel fired director James Gunn over controversial tweets and then re-hired him. Now that he's back in the director's chair, when can fans expect the movie to actually get underway? According The Hollywood Reporter , Marvel is planning to begin shooting in 2020. Not only that, but the stars are all expected to return for the third movie in in the trilogy. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was originally expected to hit theatres in May 2020, but plans changed when Gunn was fired. Before he was re-hired, Gunn signed with Warner Bros. to write and direct The Suicide Squad . That movie is releasing in August 2021, so some expected Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 to not shoot until later. But it looks like plans have shifted forward. Brightburn: Watch A Harrowing Scene From Guardians Of The Galaxy Director's Superhero Horror Movie

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn's next movie is the superhero horror film Brightburn starring Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games) and David Denman (The Office, Big Fish). The film follows the story of a child who crash-lands on Earths and is adopted by the characters played by Banks and Denman, Tori and Kyle. Marvel's superhero movies are some of the biggest films ever. The latest one, Avengers: Endgame, has already made more than $1.3 billion after less than a week in theatres . Now, a report report reveals how much money Disney/Marvel pays the franchise's biggest stars. Starting with the biggest payday, Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. earned $75 million from 2018's Avengers: Infinity War alone, according to The Hollywood Reporter . Gray directed Straight Outta Compton, The Fate of the Furious, and the upcoming Men in Black: International. As part of the make-good effort, the studio has also bundled the latest patch with a thank you gift, awarding a big dose of currency to players. The bundle includes 500,000 Koins, 500 Hearts, 1,000 Souls, and 1,000 Time Crystals. Time Crystals are the premium currency, and so the amount here equals about $10--enough for two of the premium skins. The rest of the currency types are used in the Krypt, to unlock various rewards. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who recently won an Oscar for Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse, have signed a new deal with Sony that's reportedly worth $100 million or more. According to The Hollywood Reporter , Lord and Miller will work on a lot of new and different projects as part of the nine-figure overall deal. This includes creating and producing new comedy and drama projects of their own and supervising others. The initiative turned out to be a big success; according to Niantic, more than 14,800 people participated in these events, and as thanks, the developer has rolled out a batch of exciting rewards for a limited time in the Pokemon mobile game. From now until May 2, Ground-type Pokemon such as Diglett, Sandshrew, and others will appear in the wild more frequently than normal. On top of that, players will have a chance of finding a Shiny Diglett, marking the first time it has been available in the mobile game. Rounding out the Earth Day rewards, players will receive two times the normal amount of Candy and Stardust each time they capture Pokemon.
