My Nintendo Adds New Game Discounts And Rewards

September is upon us, and Nintendo is ringing in the month with a new batch of rewards to spend your My Nintendo points on. As usual, these come in the form of discount coupons on select 3DS and Wii U games, and this particular batch covers some great titles for both platforms.

On 3DS, My Nintendo members can get a 30% discount off of Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, and the Mii life sim Tomodachi Life for 400 Platinum points each. Nintendo is also offering 40% off of the acclaimed 3DS Eshop platformer BoxBoy for 150 Platinum points, and 30% off of the classic Game Boy Color game Pokemon TCG for 140 Platinum points.

If you have a lot of Gold points saved up, you can trade them for discounts on a handful of more recent 3DS titles. You can get 30% off of the Mii RPG Miitopia and the multiplayer Zelda adventure Tri Force Heroes for 90 Gold points each. There are also 30% off coupons for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Kirby Triple Deluxe for 50 Gold points each.

Wii U features a much slimmer selection of new discounts. You can get 50% off of the mini-game collection Nintendo Land for 500 Platinum points, and 50% off of Pikmin 3 for 80 Gold points. There's also a 40% off discount for the classic SNES game Kirby's Dream Course; that can be redeemed on either Wii U or New 3DS for 200 Platinum points.

In addition to those, the batch of discounts that Nintendo rolled out at the start of August are also still available. Among other games, you can get 30% off of Metroid: Samus Returns, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, and Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest for 90 Gold points each; 30% off of Star Fox Zero (110 Gold points); and 30% off of the Fire Emblem/Shin Megami Tensei crossover, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE (130 Gold points). A handful of free full game downloads are also still available. You can see the full list of rewards on the My Nintendo website.
