Amazon Black Friday 2019 Deals: All The Best Discounts Available Now

Amazon has a whole week of Black Friday deals

Amazon's Black Friday deals are some of the best around this year, with many of their discounts edging out the likes of Walmart and Best Buy's Black Friday sale. And all of these sales seem to last a little longer every single year. Amazon kicked off its Black Friday deals a whole week early, so some of their best offers are sold out. However, there are still plenty of discounts to take advantage of, so be sure to check out the gallery below--we'll also update this gallery if the stock gets replenished.

In the following gallery, we've listed out the best deals that you can find on Amazon during its Black Friday week. In the pinbox below, you can also look through our Black Friday guides for other stores and distributors, allowing you to compare deals.

Netgear EX6100 Wi-Fi Extender | $50 USD

Available now

Some of us actually use this extender--especially those of us who have apartments with multiple walls between the bedroom and living room. In a pinch, it's a great way to improve your connection to your devices--and the ethernet port allows you to essentially move your desktop to any place you want.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey | $29 USD

This discount is only for the PS4 version of the game, not the Xbox One or PC versions.

In GameSpot's Assassin's Creed Odyssey review, Alessandro Fillari wrote, "Assassin's Creed Odyssey's ambition is admirable, which is reflected in its rich attention to detail for the era and its approach to handling the multi-faceted narrative with strong protagonists at the lead. While its large-scale campaign--clocking in at over 50 hours--can occasionally be tiresome, and some features don't quite make the impact they should, Odyssey makes great strides in its massive and dynamic world, and it's a joy to venture out and leave your mark on its ever-changing setting."

Red Dead Redemption 2 | $30 USD

Sold out as of last update

This discount is only for the Xbox One version of the game, not the PS4 or PC versions.

In GameSpot's Red Dead Redemption 2 review, Kallie Plagge wrote, "While Red Dead Redemption was mostly focused on John Marston's story, Red Dead 2 is about the entire Van der Linde gang--as a community, as an idea, and as the death rattle of the Wild West. It is about Arthur, too, but as the lens through which you view the gang, his very personal, very messy story supports a larger tale. Some frustrating systems and a predictable mission structure end up serving that story well, though it does take patience to get through them and understand why. Red Dead Redemption 2 is an excellent prequel, but it's also an emotional, thought-provoking story in its own right, and it's a world that is hard to leave when it's done."

Star Wars: Battlefront II | $12.49 USD

Available now

This discount is for the Xbox One version of the game, not the PS4 or PC versions.

In GameSpot's Star Wars: Battlefront II review, Alessandro Fillari wrote, "While its main narrative feels unresolved, and the general loop of the multiplayer carries a number of issues, Battlefront II still manages to evoke that same sense of joy and excitement found in the core of what the series is all about. But as it stands, the biggest hurdle that Battlefront II will need to overcome--for its simultaneous attempts to balance progression with genuine feeling of accomplishments--is deciding on what type of game it wants to be."

Resident Evil 2 | $19.80 USD

Sold out as of last update

This discount is for the Xbox One version of the game, not the PS4 or PC versions.

In GameSpot's Resident Evil 2 review, Alessandro Fillari wrote, "Resident Evil 2 is not only a stellar remake of the original, but it's also simply a strong horror game that delivers anxiety-inducing and grotesque situations, topping some of the series' finest entries. But above all, the remake is an impressive game for the fact that it goes all-in on the pure survival horror experience, confidently embracing its horrifying tone and rarely letting up until the story's conclusion. Though Resident Evil 2 has its roots firmly in the past, it reworks the familiar horrors into something that feels brand new and all its own."

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition | $3 USD

Sold out as of last update

This (amazing, 90%) discount is for the PC version of the game, not the Xbox One or PS4 versions.

In GameSpot's Sleeping Dogs review, Carolyn Petit wrote, "There are other minor attractions throughout the Hong Kong of Sleeping Dogs. You can bet on cockfights, for instance, or sail out to a gambling barge for a bit of poker mahjong. And a social hub ranks you against your friends on mission performance as well as a host of other challenges, like longest bike jump and most cash earned by running down parking meters in rapid succession. Goofing around and pursuing high marks on these leaderboards is fun, but it's the atmospheric city and the varied story missions that make Sleeping Dogs an alluring adventure. It may have more violence than you'd want in a typical vacation, but this is still a fun-filled Hong Kong getaway that will leave you with many happy memories."

The Outer Worlds for Xbox One | $40 USD

Sold out as of last update

This is only a good deal if you don't want to buy Game Pass--as The Outer Worlds is included in the subscription service. We highly recommend investing into Game Pass instead, however, as the service offers a hundred great games (like The Outer Worlds) for a fraction of their total retail cost.

MediEvil Review - Bones 'n Brawn

As a remaster of the 1998 puzzle-platformer of the same name, MediEvil holds up reasonably well. Its cartoonishly charming characters and varied, if relatively simplistic, level design both stands the test of time and looks better than ever thanks to a complete graphical overhaul. But as much as MediEvil can feel like a warm blanket of nostalgia--especially for those of us who played the game 21 years ago--it also feels incredibly dated, with jittery controls and camera issues that regularly get in the way of progress. You play as Sir Daniel Fortesque, a dead knight who is returned to life when the sorcerer Zarok makes an unexpected return to Gallowmere, bringing with him hordes of monsters. Fortesque remains every bit as charming a character as he was; his gnarled teeth, warbly voice, and single, rolling eyeball lose none of their charisma in the remastering process. Zarok's design hasn't aged well, though, and the new visuals leave him looking like a plastic doll who’s been

After Pitching Dragon Age Musical DLC, David Gaider Is Finally Getting To Make His Musical Game

Dragon Age lead franchise writer David Gaider is making a new and intriguing-looking musical adventure game Chorus . As it turns out, the veteran game developer--who left BioWare years ago--has been thinking about making a musical game for a long time. In an appearance at the GameSpot Theatre today at PAX Aus about his new game and studio, Gaider said he in fact pitched musical DLC for Dragon Age during his time at BioWare. The musical Dragon Age DLC could have taken place inside the metaphysical Dragon Age realm called The Fade, he said. It was a semi-serious, semi-joking pitch, Gaider said, but whatever the case, it never happened. Gaider is now getting to realize that dream. His new game, Chorus, is a musical adventure game where they big story beats play out through song. Gaider is working on Chorus with Summerfall managing director Liam Esler (former Obsidian, Beamdog developer), while prolific voice actress Laura Bailey (Uncharted, Gears of War) is voicing the main character.
