Best Black Friday Gaming Deals 2019: PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC

PlayStation 4 Pro (1TB) with Marvel's Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition | $289

Google Shopping will have the PS4 Pro bundled with Marvel's Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition, which includes all DLC, for just $289 during Black Friday.

PS4 Pro (1TB) Glacier White with $25 gift coupon | $300

A GameStop-exclusive Black Friday deal, the gorgeous Glacier White PS4 Pro will be discounted to $300. Plus, you'll get a $25 gift coupon to spend at GameStop.

PS4 Pro (1TB) | $300

Assuming the other PS4 Pro deals sell out, you can also get a PS4 Pro on its own for $300 during Black Friday, which is still a nice price.

PlayStation VR Mega Pack bundle with five games | $200

It doesn't get much better than this PlayStation VR Mega Pack, which will be on sale at Walmart, Best Buy, and other retailers for $200. While it doesn't include PlayStation Move motion controllers, it does come with five great PSVR games:

PlayStation VR bundle with Astro Bot and Moss | $200

If the Mega Pack sells out quickly, this PSVR bundle with Moss and Astro Bot: Rescue Mission is another popular choice that'll be on sale for Black Friday.

DualShock 4 Wireless Controller | $39 each

PS4's DualShock 4 controllers will be discounted at many major retailers during Black Friday. Walmart will have the new Fall 2019 colors, shown above, for $39--they normally go for $65. Meanwhile, you'll also find DualShock 4 controllers on sale at Best Buy, Amazon, and GameStop, but colors available will vary by store.

PlayStation Plus 12-month membership | $45

Sony's official offer on PS Plus this Black Friday is $45 for a 12-month subscription. This is a solid deal, but we'll be looking to see if it drops any lower at places like Ebay or Newegg closer to Black Friday. Keep in mind that PS Plus subscriptions can be stacked, so even if you still have some time left on your current membership, you can renew early and save yourself some money in the longterm.

Nintendo Switch Lite | $175

It's rare to see Nintendo's new, handheld-only Switch discounted as it only released a few months ago, but Google Shopping (formerly known as Google Express) will have it on sale for $175 during Black Friday, down $25 from its $200 list price. It's unclear whether more colors will be available than just gray. We'll include the link here when available.

Nintendo Switch Lite with $25 gift coupon | $200

GameStop will have its own Nintendo Switch Lite promotion. Though the Switch Lite will still be sold for its regular price of $200, GameStop is throwing in a $25 gift coupon. This deal will only be available Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1, but it applies to the yellow, gray, and turquoise models.

Nintendo Switch bundle with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and $25 gift coupon | $300

Nintendo's holiday Switch bundle is, disappointingly, a repeat of last year's. The launch model Switch--that's the one without improved battery life--will come with a free digital copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for $300. At GameStop, you can also get a $25 gift coupon with your purchase, but please note that bonus is available only on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday.

If you're a fan of Mario Kart, which normally goes for around $50, and manage to snag GameStop's offer, this bundle is still pretty decent, especially if you plan to play docked more than handheld. You'll find the same bundle at Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Best Buy, the latter of which is also throwing in a free screen protector.

Nintendo Switch with Crash Team Racing, Switch Online Family Membership | $305

Google Shopping has swooped in with another solid Nintendo Switch bundle option for Black Friday. While the start time hasn't been revealed, you'll be able to snag this Nintendo Switch (the new model with improved battery life) and get Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled ($40 value) along with a 12-month Switch Online Family Membership ($35 value), all for $305.

Nintendo Switch bundle with carrying case, charging dock, and $90 Kohl's Cash | $320

If you'd rather own some handy accessories, this Switch bundle includes the newer, improved console, a carrying case ($20 value), and the popular PowerA Joy-Con Charging Dock ($25 value) for $320. On top of that, you'll get $90 in Kohl's Cash with your purchase, so if you plan on doing any other holiday shopping at Kohl's, you may want to cash in on this deal.

Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons (Gray or Neon Red/Blue) | $53.60

Need an extra pair of Joy-Cons? Nintendo's official holiday offers include a $20 discount on its gray and neon red/blue Joy-Con pairs. Normally sold for $80, they'll be on sale for $53.60 at Amazon and $60 at Best Buy and Target for Black Friday.

Poke Ball Plus | $20

This Switch accessory is getting a nice price drop for Black Friday shoppers. Normally sold for $50, the Poke Ball Plus will be $20 during Black Friday. The Poke Ball Plus allows you to take one of your Pokemon pals with you on the go. It also comes with Mew, a mythical Pokemon that can be transferred into Pokemon: Let's Go, Pokemon Sword, or Pokemon Shield. However, the Poke Ball Plus only works as a controller for catching Pokemon in Pokemon: Let's Go. You'll find this deal at many major retailers, including Amazon and GameStop, for Black Friday.

Nintendo Switch Online 12-month individual subscription | $15

Nintendo's online subscription is cheaper than both PS Plus and Xbox Live Gold, but it rarely sees discounts. Target will be offering 12-month Switch Online individual memberships for $15 (rather than $20) during Black Friday. Besides online play, Switch Online gets you access to a huge library of SNES and NES classics.

Xbox One X bundle with Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order Deluxe Edition + 3 months of Xbox Live Gold | $350

One of the most powerful consoles on the market is bundled with one of this fall's biggest game releases in this excellent Black Friday deal. Available at multiple retailers, this Xbox One X bundle includes Star War: Jedi Fallen Order Deluxe Edition along with three months of Xbox Live Gold for just $350. Considering Xbox One X bundles still regularly go for $500, you can't beat this deal.

Xbox One S bundle with Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order and $40 Target gift card | $200

For a cheaper alternative to the above bundle, you can also get the Xbox One S, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order Deluxe Edition, and a $40 gift card for $200 at Target during Black Friday. The same bundle (minus the gift card) is also at Walmart and GameStop.

Xbox One X bundle with Gears 5 and $40 Target gift card | $350

Another great Xbox One X bundle is available at Target for Black Friday this year. The console is bundled with Gears 5 and a $40 Target gift card for $350. Please note Gears 5 is also available for free with Xbox Game Pass. You'll also find the same bundle discounted at Walmart.

Xbox One S All-Digital Edition Bundle | $149

If buying physical discs isn't your thing, you might be interested in the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition bundle, which comes with Minecraft, Sea of Thieves, and bonus content for Fortnite (2,000 V-Bucks and the Legendary Rogue Spider Knight outfit). The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition wasn't well-received when it first launched at $250, but for a full $100 less, the price may finally be right. You can find it for $149 at Walmart right now, as well as Best Buy.

Select Xbox One controllers | $39

Need a new Xbox One wireless controller? Walmart will have Xbox wireless controllers for $39 during Black Friday. The Microsoft Store will also have select colors for $20 off. We don't know exactly which controllers will get the discounts, however.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate: Get 3 months for $1 (new subscribers)

Microsoft is offering a nice discount on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate this holiday season: For a limited time, you can get your first three months of the service--which combines Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass for both PC and console--for just $1. Considering three months would normally cost you $45, this introductory offer is worth grabbing if you're curious about Game Pass--just remember to cancel before the three months are up if you don't want to continue with your membership.

All you need to do is put it on and get going with its library of VR games and experiences. However, if you want to connect to a PC, you can do that with the recently introduced Oculus Link feature--just connect it via USB 3.0 and you're off to the races. That means if you want to play Half-Life: Alyx, then you're good to go with the Quest.

From now until January 31, Oculus is giving away all three episodes of the Star Wars series, Vader Immortal, with every purchase of the Quest. All you have to do is activate your headset within 30 days of your purchase.

The Cosmos is HTC's attempt at a VR headset with inside-out tracking. Like the Rift S, it needs to be powered by a PC. And of course, this headset is ready to go for Half-Life: Alyx. GameStop has it for $600 during Black Friday.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare | $38

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has an excellent campaign coupled with exciting multiplayer modes.

The new Call of Duty game just launched in late October, but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available for $38 at Walmart and GameStop. MediEvil Review - Bones 'n Brawn

As a remaster of the 1998 puzzle-platformer of the same name, MediEvil holds up reasonably well. Its cartoonishly charming characters and varied, if relatively simplistic, level design both stands the test of time and looks better than ever thanks to a complete graphical overhaul. But as much as MediEvil can feel like a warm blanket of nostalgia--especially for those of us who played the game 21 years ago--it also feels incredibly dated, with jittery controls and camera issues that regularly get in the way of progress. You play as Sir Daniel Fortesque, a dead knight who is returned to life when the sorcerer Zarok makes an unexpected return to Gallowmere, bringing with him hordes of monsters. Fortesque remains every bit as charming a character as he was; his gnarled teeth, warbly voice, and single, rolling eyeball lose none of their charisma in the remastering process. Zarok's design hasn't aged well, though, and the new visuals leave him looking like a plastic doll who’s been

After Pitching Dragon Age Musical DLC, David Gaider Is Finally Getting To Make His Musical Game

Dragon Age lead franchise writer David Gaider is making a new and intriguing-looking musical adventure game Chorus . As it turns out, the veteran game developer--who left BioWare years ago--has been thinking about making a musical game for a long time. In an appearance at the GameSpot Theatre today at PAX Aus about his new game and studio, Gaider said he in fact pitched musical DLC for Dragon Age during his time at BioWare. The musical Dragon Age DLC could have taken place inside the metaphysical Dragon Age realm called The Fade, he said. It was a semi-serious, semi-joking pitch, Gaider said, but whatever the case, it never happened. Gaider is now getting to realize that dream. His new game, Chorus, is a musical adventure game where they big story beats play out through song. Gaider is working on Chorus with Summerfall managing director Liam Esler (former Obsidian, Beamdog developer), while prolific voice actress Laura Bailey (Uncharted, Gears of War) is voicing the main character.
