It's officially Black Friday 2019, but you don't have to leave your home to get some great deals. Along with most retailers offering some fantastic deals on everything PS4 and PSVR, Sony's official PSN digital storefront has several deals running until December 2, including both must-have titles you should get if you haven't already to more obscure gems whose prices are now much more enticing. Even major games from 2019 are getting their prices cut.
There are a ton of PSN deals to sift through, so we've rounded up some of the best ones we've spotted below. If you've yet to pick up Devil May Cry 5 or the Resident Evil 2 remake, you can now snag them for $19.80 apiece, while Borderlands 3 has dropped to $40.20. Some of this year's biggest DLC expansions are also on sale. Destiny 2's Shadowkeep is $21, while Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Digital Deluxe Edition is $37.50.
PSN's Black Friday sale also features discounts on some of last year's best titles, including GameSpot's 2018 Game of the Year, Red Dead Redemption 2 ($30), as well as God of War ($10) and Assassin's Creed Odyssey ($18). As previously mentioned, this is only the first wave of Black Friday deals to hit PSN. Sony will roll out another batch of discounts on November 24, and those likewise include some great games from this year and prior, such as Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition ($10), Concrete Genie ($20.09), and more.

PlayStation Plus 12-Month Subscription | $45
An annual membership to Sony's online service typically costs $60, but you can get a 12-month subscription right now through the PlayStation Store for $45. That isn't the only place the membership is on sale; other retailers like GameStop and Amazon are also offering 12-month PS Plus subscriptions for the same price. Assassin's Creed Odyssey | $18
Ubisoft may not have released a new Assassin's Creed game this year, but with the amount of content it continued to roll out for 2018's Assassin's Creed Odyssey, it didn't need to. You can pick up the standard version of the game right now for only $18.
Battlefield V | $16
A new Battlefield game is still a way off, but you can grab the latest entry in the military shooter series for only $16. EA and DICE have rolled out a steady stream of free updates and content for Battlefield V this year, the most recent of which added two new Pacific Theater maps, so now's a good time to jump in if you haven't already.
Borderlands 3 | $40.20
Borderlands 3 may have only released this past September, but you can grab the standard edition for 33% off during the PlayStation Store's Black Friday sale. This installment doesn't stray far from the series' signature loot-driven gameplay, but it introduces a handful of new Vault Hunters to play as, each with their own unique skills and abilities.
Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare | $49.80
The standard edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare won't be on sale until Black Friday itself, but in the meantime, you can grab the game's Operator Edition or Operator Enhanced Edition for $64 and $80, respectively. The standard version, meanwhile, is $49.80--not bad for a game that just came out last month.
Catherine: Full Body | $30
Atlus's well-received PS3/Xbox 360 game Catherine arrived on current-gen consoles earlier this year, and it's on sale for 50% off during PSN's Black Friday sale. This version introduces a new love interest for protagonist Vincent, along with improved visuals and other refinements.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled | $26
Following the success of the Crash N Sane Trilogy, Activision gave the bandicoot's classic PS1 kart racer the remaster treatment as well and released it earlier this year as Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled. Featuring overhauled visuals and content from both the original Crash Team Racing and Crash Nitro Kart, Nitro-Fueled is a remaster done right.
Days Gone | $20
After suffering numerous delays, Sony's post-apocalyptic adventure Days Gone finally arrived on PS4 earlier this year. Now you can grab the standard version from PSN for $20--50% off its usual price--while the Digital Deluxe Edition will only set you back $25.
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep | $21
The latest expansion for Destiny 2 also happens to be a standalone release, allowing you to purchase it and dive right into Bungie's most recent campaign and other content. While the base game itself is now free, Shadowkeep gets you access to a new Raid, Exotics, and missions, among other things. With Destiny 2 in arguably the best shape it's ever been in, now's a great time to either dive in or to expand what you already have access to.
Devil May Cry 5 (with Red Orbs) | $19.80
Capcom's beloved action series made a triumphant return earlier this year, and if you've yet to pick it up, you can get the game--bundled with 100,000 Red Orbs--for only $19.80 during PSN's Black Friday sale.
The Division 2 | $15
The newest entry in Ubisoft's loot-shooter series arrived this past March, and you can get the standard edition for a whopping 75% off. Whereas the first Division was set in New York, this entry takes place in Washington, DC, after it has been ravaged by the same epidemic that devastated NY.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint | $30
The Division 2 wasn't the only new shooter from Ubisoft this year; the publisher also released Ghost Recon Breakpoint, a follow-up to 2017's Wildlands. Set in the fictional island archipelago of Auroa, Breakpoint has players hunting down rogue Ghost Cole D. Walker, played by actor Jon Bernthal. While the game underperformed critically and commercially, Ubisoft is committed to improving it.
God Of War | $10
Sony's God of War reboot was one of the best releases of 2018. The game joined the PlayStation Hits line earlier this year, dropping its price permanently to $20, but you can get it for a paltry $10 during PSN's Black Friday sale.
Grand Theft Auto V: Premium Online Edition | $9.90
It seems like, by now, everyone interested in Grand Theft Auto V would already own it, and yet it continues to sell tremendously well, so there are still folks out there diving in for the first time. At just under $10, this is an absolute steal, given that you get access to its lengthy single-player campaign and the GTA Online multiplayer component, which Rockstar continues to expand upon with regular updates including new vehicles, weapons, and game modes.
Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition | $10
Horizon marked a much different sort of game for Killzone developer Guerrilla Games, but it absolutely nailed it. Horizon tells the story of Aloy, a young hunter in a post-apocalyptic world where animal-like machines roam the land, including huge beasts that can present lengthy, almost Monster Hunter-style battles as you explore the open world. The Complete Edition gets you access to not just the base game, but also its excellent Frozen Wilds expansion that features some truly impressive snow tech.
Madden NFL 20 | $36
Madden 20 marks the latest game in the long-running football series, and with the playoffs approaching, you can jump in and check out what this year's edition has added. The headlining feature is Face of the Franchise: QB1, a campaign mode where you take a player through their career. If that's not your style, you have plenty of other ways to play, including Franchise mode, Ultimate Team, and competitive online modes.
Marvel's Spider-Man: Game Of The Year Edition | $20
Marvel's Spider-Man is another marquee PS4 release from 2018, and if you haven't picked it up yet, you can get the Game of the Year Edition--which includes all of the game's DLC--for only $20. Developed by Insomniac, Marvel's Spider-Man is one of the best video game adaptations the iconic comic hero has ever received, featuring an original storyline and plenty of web-slinging action.
Metro Exodus | $21
The third and most recent entry in the Metro series, Metro Exodus is a bold departure in many ways, trading the claustrophobic tunnels of its predecessors for more open--though no less tense--environments. Exodus was also one of the earliest big releases of the year, so if you've held off until now, you can grab the base game for only $21, while its expansion pass is on sale for $12.50.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Digital Deluxe Edition | $37.50
Capcom's critically acclaimed action-RPG, Monster Hunter World, received its first paid DLC expansion this past September. Set in a new icy region known as Hoarfrost Reach, Iceborne introduces a variety of new monsters to hunt, weapons to craft, and more. The Iceborne Digital Deluxe Edition is on sale as part of PSN's Black Friday sale and includes some exclusive bonus content such as Silver Knight layered armor, but you'll need to have the base game to play it. The standard Iceborne expansion is also on sale for $30.
Mortal Kombat 11 | $30
Mortal Kombat 11 continues the story of the soft reboot the MK series has seen in recent years, this time with players contending with Kronika, who is able to rewrite history. It features the same style of gory combat you've come to know from the franchise--but now grosser and better-looking than ever, with some especially over-the-top Fatalities. You can also expect a wide array of alternate game modes and the Krypt, a navigable location full of puzzles and treasure to unlock.
NBA 2K20 | $30
NBA 2K20 remains the preeminent basketball sim, and with EA again canceling its latest NBA Live game, it's your only real option if you want to play a game where Zion Williamson isn't hurt. 2K20 introduces WNBA teams and players, a new MyCareer campaign, a revamped MyGM mode, and more.
Need For Speed Heat | $40.20
The Need for Speed series has largely fallen by the wayside of late, but Heat marks a welcome shift in the right direction. The game centers around two types of racing: sanctioned daytime races on confined tracks, and illegal nighttime street racing where you'll have to deal with the cops if you hope to escape with your winnings.
The Outer Worlds | $45
The Outer Worlds feels a lot like a Fallout game, and that's no surprise, given it was made by Fallout: New Vegas developer Obsidian. It features a more manageable story (expect it to take about 30 hours to finish) full of colorful characters and great writing, as well as numerous ways to customize your character.
Persona 5 | $10
One of the most stylish games ever made, Persona 5 puts you in control of the Phantom Thieves, a group of high schoolers who infiltrate the hearts of malicious adults with the help of "Personas" they're able to summon. With an incredible soundtrack, the game features a top-notch story and characters and is an absolute must-play for RPG fans.
Red Dead Redemption 2 | $30
Arguably the biggest game of last year (and our Game of the Year), Red Ded Redemption 2 serves as a prequel to the beloved Red Dead Redemption. Players take on the role of Arthur Morgan, an outlaw who is faced with tough decision after tough decision as he and his group flee the authorities across an open-world version of America's mid- and southwest. Red Dead Redemption 2 comes with not just its acclaimed single-player experience, but also Red Dead Online, a multiplayer game that Rockstar continues to expand.
Resident Evil 2 | $19.80
Capcom's masterful remake of the beloved PS1 classic was one of this year's first marquee releases, and if you've held off on purchasing it for whatever reason until now, you can grab it for a scant $19.80 during PSN's Black Friday sale. Not only has the game received a jaw-dropping visual makeover, the gameplay foundation has also been improved, making this undoubtedly the best way to experience the classic horror game.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice | $39
Since Demon's Souls arrived back in 2009, From Software has been on a veritable role, releasing a string of critically acclaimed--and brutally challenging--action-RPGs. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the latest in this lineage, and while it retains the developer's trademark punishing difficulty, it also sets itself apart from other "Soulsbourne" games by placing a greater emphasis on parrying enemy attacks, and it's one of the most demanding--and rewarding--games of the year.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition | $15
Despite first releasing back in 2015, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remains one of the most acclaimed games of this entire generation, and for good reason. CD Projekt Red's sprawling RPG is a deep experience, featuring a stunning world, memorable story, and great combat system, and you can get the Complete Edition--which includes the base adventure and every DLC expansion--for only $15.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood Deluxe Edition | $20
Wolfenstein: Youngblood may not be a proper follow-up to 2017's Wolfenstein II, but it features plenty of the series' trademark Nazi-shooting with a blend of some new elements for good measure. This entry puts players in the role of the Blazkowicz twins, Jess and Soph, who set off for Nazi-occupied France to find their missing father. Not only can the entire adventure be played cooperatively, there are also some light RPG mechanics as well, making it a unique take of the FPS franchise.
